This week, PGA Tour continues the Florida Swing just outside Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. Let’s take a look at some of the golfers that we think will perform well on the Bay Hill Golf Course.
Bay Hill is one of the more difficult courses on the Tour schedule, outside of any Majors events. Last year’s winner Bryson DeChambeau finished at -11 but has recently pulled out due to injury.

Value Plays That Could Win
Keith Mitchell (+4500) won the Honda Classic in 2019 and recently finished T9 this time around. His consistency has continued this season, putting up top 12 finishes in five out of six starts. In addition, he is ranked third when looking at off the tee performances lately.
Cameron Young (+7000) has two top 20 finishes this season, and he has made five consecutive cuts. He also has gained over six strokes ball striking in each of his last two starts, meaning his driving is on point.
Tommy Fleetwood (+5000) has had mixed results here, but mostly positive. He had a T10 in 2017, T3 in 2019, and a T10 in 2021. Florida golf courses seem to compliment his game, so hopefully, he can recover from a bad outing at the Honda Classic.
Marc Leishman won this event back in 2017 and had a second-place finish in 2020. He also had a T7 back in 2018, so he has shown to be consistent when playing at Bay Hill. He did miss the cut last year, but he looks so much better this season, and this could be the tournament to get him back on track.
Tyrrell Hatton has five years of experience playing at Bay Hill, with only one of those events placing outside the top 30. Two of those years, he had put up excellent performances, a T4 in 2017 and an outstanding victory in 2020.
Sungjae Im has a victory at PGA National and some solid history at this event. In 2019 and 2020, he posted a T3 finish but had a T21 last season. He missed the cut at the Honda Classic, so hopefully, he had some time off to work on his game.
Golfer That Could Win
Rory Mcllroy loves Bay Hill, and his recent play heading into this event should bother other golfers in the field. The former number one golfer in the world has a great opportunity to take over.
He won this event in 2018, had a T4 in 2017, and also has a T5 and T6 finish in other years. In addition, he currently leads the field in strokes gained per round and is coming off excellent play at the Genesis Open (T10) and the Dubai Desert Classic (solo third).
