It’s that time of year again…

While grass is frozen around much of the country, the golf hot spots in the United States are warm and sunny as the PGA Tour gets underway in 2021.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions is set to tee-off on Thursday, January 7th, at the Plantation Course at Kapalua on the Hawaiian island of Maui.

No snow on the fairway there, I hope.

To celebrate the return of professional golf, the coaches, Travis Fulton and Jonathan Coachman, are back with the best betting golf show on the web, Cash-out with the Coaches!

Check out the details of their 2021 PGA Preview show right here.

2021 Season: Head-to-Head Matchups

Dustin Johnson vs Brooks Koepka

First, the coaches answered the question of who will have a better 2021 season between Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.

Fulton took Johnson, hands down. “He’s the best in the world,” Travis said. “You know you’re getting the driver, but Johnson has really figured out the putter as well. No one’s A-game is better than Dustin Johnson’s,” Fulton continued, “And that includes Brooks Koepka.”

Coachman took Johnson as well, mirroring most of Fulton’s points. The Coach even compared Johnson to Tiger Woods of 15 years ago, head and shoulders above the rest of the competition.

Jon Rahm vs Justin Thomas

Fulton goes with Justin Thomas in this one, mentioning that Thomas is “the best ball striker in the world.” One thing Fulton does want to see Thomas improve on is his consistency with the putter. If he can find his groove on the green, Fulton sees Justin Thomas on the same trajectory as the aforementioned Dustin Johnson.

One the contrary, the Coach picks Jon Rahm to have a better season than Thomas simply because the motivation for Rahm is at an all-time high. He needs to perform this year to cement himself among the top names in the sport.

Jordan Spieth vs Rickie Fowler

While both of these golfers are under swing construction right now, Travis gives Spieth a very slight edge over Fowler this year. Jonathan, however, doesn’t think Spieth is on the right track just yet in his improvement. The Coach has seen some good rounds from Fowler recently and he likes his momentum coming into the season.

Phil Mickelson vs Tiger Woods

As both of these golf legends are on the tail end of their careers, Travis thinks Tiger will edge out Mickelson this year because he’s just the better player and perhaps the best golfer we’ve ever seen.

The Coach is going with Phil Mickelson due to the health concerns of Tiger.

Players to Watch in 2021: Official World Golf Rankings (51-100)

For this segment, the coaches each selected one player ranked 51-100 to watch for the 2021 season.

Fulton: Will Zalatoris – One of Fulton’s favorite young golfers, the 24 year old out of Wake Forest won the U.S. Junior Amateur title in 2014 and was named ACC Player of the Year in 2017. Travis loves his form, style, and approach. He expects big things from Zalatoris as the youngster will continue to climb the rankings ladder throughout the year.

Coachman: Lanto Griffin – Currently ranked 63rd, the Coach thinks Griffin is an under the radar guy that Vegas will lose sight of, creating some excellent cash-out opportunities in 2021.
