Tiger Woods (+6600) was recently practicing at a golf course, and the media went nuts over it. He is still listed as a player for the Masters, but no word on if he will play or if he can. This would be interesting to add one more Masters, especially since he won out of nowhere in 2019, and it would tie Jack Nicklaus for all-time Masters victories.

Despite being the defending champion, Hideki Matsuyama (+2500)  is currently outside the top 10 betting favorites to win the Masters. He is currently the 12th best golfer in the world; he has had mixed results this season and appears to be out of the running for a Masters repeat. However, he could be a solid pick if he turns things around at Augusta.

Dustin Johnson won this event back in 2021 and was runner-up in 2019. He is a threat to the field with almost two wins here and has the best course history over the last two seasons. He has had a relatively quiet year, but this event will be one to wake him up.

Justin Thomas might be another top player that finally breaks through and gets a green jacket. He has recorded five straight top 25 finishes, and eight top 10’s when looking at his previous 12 starts. He is a solid choice coming into this event.

Potential Masters Pick

Scottie Scheffler is having the best year of his life in golf right now. In a blink of an eye, he has won three tournaments this year and taken over as the new number one golfer in the world.

He does not have the best resume at the Masters, with a couple of top 20 finishes. With his improved driving and striking accuracy, he should perform well at the Masters. In addition, he has all the confidence in the world to take over this event, and he is currently priced well for a value pick.
