Wells Fargo Championship Betting Favorites 2022

The Wells Fargo Championship is another interesting event on the PGA Tour calendar. Following the footsteps of match play, then the first Tour event for the Mexico Open, this championship will be the first for the TPC Potomac course.

In other events, this course has hosted several events for the Quicken Loans national and other popular ones, but golfers are used to playing at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. Below you can see which favorite has the best shot of winning.

This event will be slightly different to navigate since they moved the location of this event to a different course. There are a handful of golfers that have experience here or other courses like it, but it plays differently than Quail Hollow.

Below are the top 10 golfers for potential favorite odds to win. The following has been provided by DraftKings:

If you want the best bang for your buck, look no further than Keegan Bradley. He is a great driver off the tee and happens to be fairly accurate.

His strong drive will be a key factor in allowing him to get movement on the green with ease. He has been on a great run this year, posting four top 12 finishes, with two of them inside the top 10.

Since this event has mixed talent throughout the board, it would be nice to see Bradley take over. This is a great opportunity to watch him steal a win.

Tony Finau is fresh off of a second-place tie at the Mexico Open. In fact, Finau, along with Brandon Wu, tied the record in the final round with a 63 to leapfrog 15 spots for second place.

Finau was doing everything right on the final day of play, which arguably should have been his victory. If Jon Rahm had not come out strong on the first three days, you could have definitely seen Finau take that win.

If you are looking for a golfer that has the best momentum coming into this one, Finau is a favorite to consider. He will have another opportunity in a good field to get a win.

Most Likely Favorite to Succeed

Rory Mcllroy will have the most attention on him since this is the first event he has played since his Masters performance. McIlroy finished the Masters final round with one of the most incredible performances we have ever seen.

Despite not winning the green jacket, he had something to smile about after posting a record-tying low score at Augusta. His game translates well to a course like this, especially since iron play and strokes gained approach are going to be the most important factors to consider.
