The next leg of the PGA TOUR brings us to the desert, as the Waste Management Phoenix Open takes place this week at the par 71 TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course in Arizona.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open, which has taken place the same weekend as the Super Bowl since 1973, is usually the most attended tournament in professional golf, with an incredible 700,000+ in attendance in 2018, the last year the organizers provided detailed figures.

However, due to current conditions, attendance will be heavily scaled back, although no official number has been released yet.

But while the amount of spectators may be limited, the player pool is filled with hungry competitors.
