After a 112 year absence from the Olympics, golf made a memorable return in 2016. Four years later, the Games had to be postponed due to Covid, pushing the 2020 edition to summer 2021.
This week, the Olympic Men’s Golf Competition is taking place at Kasumigaseki Country Club in Saitama, Japan. One of Japan’s premier layouts, the East Course at Kasumigaseki Country Club, about an hour from Tokyo, underwent a makeover by Tom Fazio in preparation for the event, and the par 71 track should provide a good test at 7,447 yards.
