The final event of the 2020–2021 super season is here, so named because of the scheduling chaos caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It contained six major tournaments — instead of the usual four — including double editions of both the U.S. Open and the Masters, as well as the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
After more than a year on the road, the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup standings will vie for the title of FedEx Cup Champion at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA.
The top 5 players going into the competition, from 1st through 5th are Patrick Cantlay, Tony Finau, Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith. Notably absent from that list is last year’s FedEx Cup champion, Dustin Johnson, who is in 15th place going into the competition.
